Why You Should Consider Being In An Open Relationship

Open relationships aren’t for everyone , but for a select few. They are a perfect way to revamp a romantic or sexual connection — as long as those open relationships are navigated in a healthy way – and a good form of a rebound .

What really is an ‘ open relationship’?
According to full - time relationship expert, Andrea Syrtash it is essentially one in which the two people involved have agreed to engage in a romantic and / or intimate relationship outside of their primary romantic relationship .
What this means is that the relationship is devoid of exclusivity . It can also be viewed being friends with benefit with someone. For some, it is a preferred source of relationship . To engage in this form, there are a few things to consider.
The first thing to do before agreeing to be in an open relationship is to know your level of tolerance . If you have a low tolerance level, it will be hard to adapt to such a way of co- existing with another person in which intimacy is allowed with other people.
But if the opposite is the case , then you are good to go ! It is also important to have a conversation outlining the expectations from both ends and how best you both want to handle it, set rules or boundaries without sentiments or emotional attachment. Both of you need to know what is cool (or not ), and definitely need to be on the same page at all times.
Considering being in an open relationship is not a bad idea or advice to be given ; it gives both parties , peace of mind . There ’s a mutual understanding between both parties, nobody gets worried about infidelity , you nurture an interesting friendship and get to see love and relationship from a whole new perspective .

Tonto Dikeh explains why Nigerian actresses are labeled prostitutes

Tags
The acting profession in Africa has generally been seen as a profession for
promiscuous individuals. The Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, is not left out
of this misconstrued belief. The female folks in the industry are however on the
receiving end in this. From dressing seductively, to romantic gestures, to
kissing, fondling and partying to the camera, actresses are always seen as
prostitutes.

Tonto Dikeh
Rumored link ups of actresses to politicians over time have also not helped
matters. Little wonder a good number of upcoming and veteran actresses
have confessed to have found it quite difficult convincing their parents of their
passion for the craft and not the promiscuity the industry has been labeled
with.
The recent outburst of screen diva, Tonto Dike, after she allegedly caught an
actress with her best friend’s husband on a trip in Dubai has added more icing
to the cake. The actress who was pained took to her Instagram page to bear
her grievances.

Carabao Cup final: Guardiola hails two Chelsea players after Man City win

Tags
Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has heaped praises on the likes of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante following his side’s Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea yesterday.

Man City defeated Chelsea 4-3 after 120 minutes of goalless football at Wembley Stadium.

Guardiola hailed Jorginho and Kante for their ‘incredible’ performances against the Premier League champions.
It was a tight game, we knew it would be as a final. One of the toughest teams I have ever faced in my time,” Guardiola was quoted by Metro UK as saying at post-match.
“How Jorginho and Kante pressed was incredible. It is not easy to fight them.
“I was impressed with the way Chelsea defended, they were well organised and one of the toughest teams I’ve faced in my career.
"We knew they have pride and they would react [from the 6-0 defeat]. This game was more similar to the game at Stamford Bridge, which we lost. It was tough.”
Guardiola added: “I thought we played well for 70 minutes but then we suffered because we were tired.
“We had a few injuries as well which will demand a lot of us and now we could suffer [in other competitions], but the title will help our mood going forward. I’m tired but I’m happy.”

elect of Ogun Central Senatorial district in Ogun state with 88,110
votes.

Mr Amosun won with a margin of 51,009 votes as he had a total of
88,110 votes, as against the candidate with the second maximum
votes, Titi Oseni of ADC, who had 37,101 votes.
The Returning Officer, Ayinde Akande, made the announcement
around 3:58 am Monday morning at Centenary Hall, Ake, Abeokuta
in Ogun State.
“That [Amosun] Ibikunle of APC having satisfied the requirements of
the law and scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared
the winner and is returned elected,” Mr Akande said.
Mr Amosun and 18 other candidates had participated at the election
on Saturday for the Senatorial seat.
The contest took place in six local government areas of the state.
Mr Amosun was a former senator, representing Ogun Central
senatorial district before becoming a governor in 2015.
He was elected senator in 2003. However, in 2007, he made an
unsuccessful bid to become the governor of the state on the platform
of the All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP). He lost to the PDP’s Gbenga
Daniel.
His second attempt on the platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria
(ACN) was a success and he was re-elected in 2015 on the platform
of the APC. The APC was formed by a coalition of parties including
the ACN.
Mr Amosun won his two governorship elections with the support of
an APC national leader, Bola Tinubu.
Despite the intraparty crisis between Messrs Amosun, and Tinubu,
he rode on the party’s platform to win the senatorial seat. He is,
however, supporting candidates of a different party, AA, for next
fortnight’s governorship election in Ogun.
