NANS Lagos Drums Support For Sanwo-Olu

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Lagos state chapter, have thrown their weight behind the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, ahead of Saturday's March 9 governorship election in Lagos state.

The NANS Chairman, Lagos State chapter, AbdulQowiyy Busari, speaking to our correspondent said Lagos state students have delivered on its promise to place trust for the second time on President re-elect, President Muhammad Buhari and as such it was now compulsory to repeat the same task come Saturday (today).

According to him, "It was said by the National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that a vote for Buhari is employment opportunities, infrastructural development, human capital enhancement and good transportation system.

"The trust we the Nigerian students have now placed on the President for the second will undoubtedly be a source of great inspiration for him to continue the work started in building up the well-being and unity of our country and its people, and maintaining the security of our nation.

"As such, it is now of necessity and compulsory for us all Nigerian students, to repeat the same task on Saturday by showing the zeal and not rest on our oars; appealing to them to vote massively for Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as our preferred next governor of the state," he urged.

Busari added that the Lagos state government have tried in infrastructural development in various state institutions but must now deliver in its quest to introduce free WiFi, affordable school fee, amongst other sundry things.
