Adekunle Gold, Nigerian singer, has taken to social media page to celebrate Simi, his wife, as she turns 32.
Gold took to his Instagram page on Sunday to pen a romantic note to his heartthrob, explaining his life has changed magically since he met her.
“…Simi you’re one in a million. I wrote this song for you 6 years ago. As a young man that was just trying to figure life out, you had just come into my life and my world started changing magically,” he wrote.
“God must have looked at my unworthy ass struggling through life and decided to bless me with a good luck charm. ‘He who finds a wife…’ I am the He because simi, you fill my darkest days with your light. I am blessed to have you doing life with me.”
The ‘Jore’ crooner also said he hopes to write a book someday detailing how Simi, born Simisola Ogunleye, had made him a better person.
“You make me happy in every sense. You are the reason I write the best love songs. If you ended up with someone else, my life would totally suck… You are my source of peace, my strength, my favourite love,” he added.
“I’ll write a book someday about how my life changed completely and it’ll have your name written all over it. Happy Birthday to you, my one in a lifetime. Love you.”
Simi also took to her own social media page to celebrate her birthday.
“You know me, I like epistle, but today, I’m just going to say thank You to my beautiful, beautiful God, the saviour of my life, Jesus Christ, for giving me a life so full of love, joy, peace, grace, blessings and shine,” she wrote on Instagram.
TheCable Lifestyle had reported how the lovebirds — who tied the knot in January 2019 — marked their first wedding anniversaryearlier this year.
Simi had also in January celebrated Gold when he turned 33.
