Making the announcement on his X account on Thursday, the 52-year-old artist emphasised the importance of respecting his privacy during this time.
In the post, he said, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”
Snoop Dogg rose to fame in 1992 with his feature on Dr. Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover,” followed by his contributions to Dre’s debut solo album, ‘The Chronic.;
Since his emergence on the music scene, Snopp has over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million worldwide.
