Fast-rising Nigeria singer and songwriter, Teniola Apata aka Teni shared a throwback photo of younger self before her weight gain and this change is amazing. A picture of her in bikini has also surfaced online.

The singer who is unashamedly plus-sized shared the throwback photo in anticipation of her latest track dubbed Power Rangers.

In the photo, she donned a brown long sleeve jacket with a blue top and black shorts. She also finished off the look with a belt on her stomach. She also wore a pair of shades. She revealed that the song and video will be released tomorrow, June 14, 2019.

"Why I want to quit Barcelona"-Suarez

Denis Suarez has confirmed his desire to leave Barcelona and would like to
continue playing in Spain.

The 25-year-old has struggled to cement his place at Barca since returning to
the club in 2016, spending the second half of last season on loan at Arsenal.
Suarez failed to impress with the Gunners, playing just six times across all
competitions, as he battled with injuries.
And he has now made it clear that a return to England is not appealing to him.
“What I want is to leave Barca and play.
“My goal is to stay in the Spanish league. I have been in Barcelona for two
months recovering from the injury and nobody from Barca has told me
anything,” Suarez told El Larguero.
Suarez, who is contracted at Camp Nou until 2021, has been linked with a
move to Valencia.

Nigerians react as Buhari names Abuja National Stadium after MKO Abiola

Nigerians on social media have reacted to the renaming of the Abuja National
Stadium as MKO Abiola Stadium.

Newsmen had reported that Buhari renamed the Abuja National Stadium as
MKO Abiola Stadium during the Democracy Day celebration at Eagle Square today.
Reacting, while some Nigerians commended Buhari for honouring MKO Abiola,
even as others lamented the present state of the Abuja National Stadium.

Just In:Ahmed Lawan sworn-in as Senate President

Senator Ahmed Lawan has been sworn in as the President of the ninth Senate
by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori.
This followed Lawan’s defeat of Senator Ali Ndume by 79 votes to 28 in an
election that saw 107 senators vote.

Sani-Omolori administered the Oaths of Allegiance and Office to Lawan before
he assumed the seat of the Senate President.

“You now have a seating Senate President. I can no longer hit the gavel,” Sani-
Omolori told the senators-elect.
With his election, Ahmad is now to oversee the election of other principal
officers of the ninth Senate.
But of special interest is the election of the Deputy Senate President.
As at press time, voting is on-going in a fierce contest between Senators-elect
Ovie Omo-Agege (Delta Central) and Ike Ekweremadu (Enugu West).

Coutinho makes honest revelation about last season at Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho has admitted he did not have a good season with Barcelona,
but has promised to improve.

The Brazilian playmaker made a €120million move from Liverpool to Barcelona
in January 2018 and initially enjoyed success at Camp Nou.
But after eight goals and five assists in 18 league games in his half-season
debut, Coutinho struggled in his first full campaign.
He managed just five goals and two assists in LaLiga, while adding another
three goals and three assists in the Champions League.
Coutinho’s poor form has seen him linked with a summer exit, with Chelsea and
Paris Saint-Germain, although the player is looking to stay and improve.
“I have not had a good season.
“My performances have been a lot worse than I expected they would.
“The only way to improve and gain confidence is through hard work, and I have
been working hard,” he told reporters at Brazil’s national camp.
