Lagos state has recorded a third death from COVID-19 complications.
Akin Abayomi, the state’s commissioner of health, who disclosed the development in a tweet on Wednesday, said the deceased was a 66-year-old Briton who had travelled from India via Dubai to Lagos.

Lagos has 130 cases of COVID-19, but 32 persons have recovered from the disease in the state.
On Tuesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 16 new cases of the disease across the country.
Of the new cases, Lagos has 10, two in the federal capital territory and Oyo, while Delta and Katsina has one case each.
The number of recoveries nationwide is 44 while the total number of deaths from the disease is 7.
There are 254 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country as of Tuesday.
